Important Notes:

-Due to high volume of consultation requests, I cannot meet individually with external applicants unless they are applying for doctoral/Integrated Master's-Doctoral programs

-All programs (Master's, Integrated MA/Doctoral, Doctoral) involve application material screening & interview/oral exam

1. Screening of Application Materials:

-Personal Statement: Focus on demonstrating relevant activities and preparation for graduate study rather than introducing personal characteristics or interests

-Research Proposal: Develop an in-depth plan for studying psychological variables or phenomena of interest, demonstrating understanding of research background, research questions/hypotheses, and methodology

2. Interview/Oral Exam:

-Master's Program: Prepare for oral exam in developmental psychology and statistics

-Doctoral/Integrated Program: Demonstrate deep understanding of major topics and theories in developmental and developmental-clinical psychology, plus advanced statistical knowledge

-Doctoral Applicants: Must contact me via email with CV and research interests before applying

대학원 지원 관련 안내

중요 사항:

-대학원 진학 관련 과도한 면담 요청으로 인해 타교 지원생의 경우 박사(통합)과정에 지원하는 경우가 아니라면 일일이 만나주기 어려움

-석사, 통합, 박사과정 모두 서류심사 & 면접/구술 심사로 진행됨

1. 서류심사:

-자기소개서: 개인적인 성격이나 관심사를 소개하기보다는 대학원 진학을 위해 그동안 어떠한 관련 활동을 했는지와 준비 과정을 어필하는 것이 중요

-연구계획서: 관심 있는 심리학적 변인이나 현상을 심도 있게 연구하기 위한 계획서로 연구배경, 연구문제/가설, 그리고 방법론에 대한 이해를 평가할 수 있도록 작성할 것

2. 구두 면접심사:

-석사 프로그램: 발달심리학과 기초 통계 분야의 구두 면접에 준비하도록 할 것

-박사 프로그램: 발달및발달임상 프로그램에서 다루는 주요 주제의 논문이나 이론을 이해하며 심도 있는 통계 지식을 가지고 있어야 함

-박사/통합과정 지원자: 지원 전에 필히 CV나 연구 관심사에 대한 내용을 정리해 이메일로 연락할 것
